June 9, 2009 Rain Water Harvesting & Rain Garden Train-the-Trainer Workshop

AM: NCSU and UGa Extension educators presented the morning program via a webinar.  Three locations in Oklahoma held public meetings to view the webinar.

PM: Local workshops were held to add-on to the morning webinar.
The Stillwater afternoon session was sponsored by the City of Stillwater and OSU Extension.  The City provided the meeting space and the location for the rain garden, as well as the materials and people needed to get the job done.  Cody Whittenburg, City Storm Water Programs Manager, did the bulk of the organization.   OSU representatives presenting local information  included Sharla Lovern (Biosystems & Agriculture Engineering, Water Quality Extension Extension Engineer), David Hillock (Horticulture & Landscape Architecture Asst Extension Specialist), and Michael Holmes (Horticulture & Landscape Architecture Asst Professor).
